When Sherlock first saw the baby he’d probably try to deduce it. He’d be all:

“Judging by his eyes he’ll make a good living when he’s older. Maybe by acting, more likely a musician. Not solo, his fingers say guitar player, most likely a band. His hair is growing fast, it’ll be past his eyes by time he’s 4, straight, not curly. He’ll get his first girlfriend by 16, engaged at 21, and we’ll be grandparents by time he’s 25.”
